"Sorbent AC" acts as an oxidation catalyst in the reaction of dissolved oxygen with iron (II) and (III) compounds, resulting in the formation of iron (III) hydroxide, which is an insoluble compound and is easily removed by a reverse flow of water.
Hydrogen sulfide is also oxidized and retained in the subsequent layers of the load with the removal of the reverse flow of water. The sorbent does not require the use of any chemical reagents for regeneration. Periodic flushing with water or water-air (which is more efficient) is necessary and sufficient. During operation, the sorbent is not consumed, it is a very durable material
"Sorbent AS" has a large capacity and successfully maintains very low concentrations of contaminants in purified water.
It is especially effective when used together with "Sorbent MS".
